oneway
Early access · iPhone

One steady step at a time.

oneway is a private daily companion for anyone changing their relationship with alcohol or drugs. No facility, no referral and no code needed to start.

Early access runs through Apple's TestFlight. iPhone only for now.

Wherever you are with it

You can start without any of it.

Some people come to oneway after treatment. Others are thinking about it, or aren't sure it's for them. You don't have to decide anything to begin.

Not tied to a facility

Make an account without a facility code. Nothing connects you to a program unless you choose to add one later.

Nobody to sign you up

No referral and no intake to get through. You install the app and make an account.

On your terms

Check in when you want. Use what helps and leave what doesn't.

What's inside

Small tools for ordinary days.

A daily check-in

One tap to say how the day went. Your calendar keeps a quiet record of the good days and the hard ones.

Kept promises

Milestones mark the days you kept a promise to yourself, so you can see how far you've come.

Meetings

Find AA, NA and SMART Recovery meetings, in person or online, and add them to your calendar.

When the pull hits

Open tools built to help you get through it, including guided breathing.

A private journal

Write it down, or say it out loud. Voice notes are turned into text for you.

Help at any hour

988 and the Crisis Text Line are one tap away from inside the app.

How it starts

Three steps. About two minutes.

1

Install through TestFlight

Tap "Get early access" on an iPhone. Apple's TestFlight app installs oneway for you.

2

Make an account

When it asks for a facility code, choose "Continue without one."

3

Check in when you're ready

There's no schedule to keep up with. The rest of the app is there when you want it.

If you're wondering about treatment

No pressure. Nobody here will push it.

If you ever want to look, oneway.care lists facilities that offer oneway to their alumni, and SAMHSA's FindTreatment.gov lists treatment providers across the country.

Questions

Good things to ask.

Do I have to have been in treatment?

No. You can make an account without a facility code.

Is oneway therapy or medical care?

No. It's a support tool. It isn't a crisis service, an emergency service, or medical care. If you're in crisis, call or text 988.

Where do the meetings come from?

From public directories: meetingguide.org and the BMLT listings used by NA. oneway doesn't run the meetings.

Who can see what I put in?

The privacy policy explains what's stored and who can see it. Nothing in your account is linked to a facility unless you add one.

Is it on Android?

Not yet. Early access is iPhone only.
